DISTANCES

WHY 128,8 KM?
This is exactly the circumference of the Maró Indigenous Territory, an area of 42,000 hectares of rainforest (40x larger than the Amsterdam Forest) deep in the Brazilian Amazon, which is well protected by the Borarí and Arapiun Indigenous people of the territory.
Forest Guardians patrol and protect the entire area to detect illegal logging and halt deforestation. Chief Dadá Borarí, the Indigenous leader of the area, and his people need our support to expand their protection measures and keep as many hectares of forest under protection as possible.
